 Lead Oracle DBA

Responsibilities:Lead Database Administrator: Plan, maintain, and develop Oracle database and related applications. Lead database administration including coordinating application support personnel in design, creation and maintenance of databases, designing system backup and restore procedures, and maintaining data security. Responsible for logical and physical backups. Set up system users and roles in applications. Evaluate database performance, and tune Oracle instance components including SQL and PL/SQL. Identify commercially available database management utilities to facilitate maintenance and monitoring of databases. Perform version upgrades and database migrations. Code and modify existing OS scripts on multi platforms including Linux and Windows. Clone RAC and non RAC databases. Perform database exports and imports. Perform database and application patching. Stay current with emerging industry standards and technologies. Troubleshoot and correct errors. Resolve issues related to Apache and Jserv. Provide 7x24 technical support.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering + 5 years of progressive experience OR Master's degree + 1 years of experience.

Skills: Experience in Oracle database & application patching/cloning; Oracle apps utilities; RMAN; Oracle 8i/9i/10g/11g; multi platform operating system environments (Windows 2003 server & Red Hat Linux); Oracle ERP applications; PL/SQL; SQL; Shell and windows scripting; Rapid wiz; Functional modules AR, AP, GL, OM, INV; and Synsort backup agent.

Hosting Support Technician

Responsibilities: Field customer calls, answer emails, create/ resolve trouble tickets related to hosting. Technical Help desk, helping customers with technical issues related to hosting and domain names. Participation in the customer design, build, testing, training and go-live activities.
Acts as the primary point of contact and application advisor to the customer.
Function as Tier 2 support for customers. Engagement with customer implementation projects beginning with the integrated test rounds through to end of the contract. Monitors all client-reported problems that are filed for assigned applications. Building load files and then importing them into hosting processing tool. Quality control checks of the processed data. Utilizing a text editing tool to modify load files created by hosting platforms. Customer relationship management; ability to understand a customers business and how application hosting contributes to the delivery of that product or service. Perform migrations of customer data as needed to maintain balanced loads on systems. Technical configuration; data loading, extraction, and transformation using a variety of tools.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering + 2 years of progressive experience.

Skills: Superior communication, excellent customer service skills. Experience with repository services used throughout the industry. Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with diverse audiences of varying degrees of expertise. Strong organizational skills, the ability to effectively juggle competing demands, prioritize appropriately, and oversee multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to use independent judgment to make sound, justifiable decisions and take action in solving problems. Available to work overtime, including evenings and weekends as needed. Available by phone or email when out of the office as needed. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, HTML helpful. Familiar with Windows 2003 Server. Knowledge of MS-SQL and database helpful.
Knowledge of scripting helpful. Previous experience in a web hosting helpdesk is desired.
Familiarity with the Windows operating system, text editors and basic networking skills preferred.

Proven skills in public relations, particularly with the trade and business press. Ability to prioritize and function in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.

 Project Manager

Responsibilities: Oversee projects from initial set-up to delivery of the finished product, with a focus on client relations and communication. Work closely with client to set up projects, including price quotes, project turnaround estimates, and job specifications. Continuously track multiple projects within each department to ensure project deadlines are met. Work closely with production manager to ensure proper allocation of resources based on project deadlines. Serve as a liaison between RVM, the production manger, and the client. Communicate frequently with client to troubleshoot project issues and provide status updates. Ensure jobs are completed according to company quality standards, job specifications and deadlines.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree + 5 years of progressive experience.

Skills: Working knowledge of operations, including document imaging, printing, coding, and electronic data processing. Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize appropriately. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with client and staff. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Available to work overtime, including evenings and/or weekends as needed. Available by phone or email when out of the office as needed. Excellent customer service skills. Prior management experience required.
Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to use independent judgment to make sound, justifiable decisions and take action in solving problems.
